Mini Egg Rolls

Mini Egg Rolls and Sauce
from Sherida Steffen

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound hamburger
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup carrots
1/2 cup green onions
salt and pepper to taste
1 package won ton wrappers
oil for deep frying

DIRECTIONS:
1. Brown hamburger.
2. Mix together meat, egg, soy sauce, sugar, carrots, onions, salt and pepper.
3. Place small amount of mixture in middle of won ton wrapper in diamond position. Fold side corners to center. Dampen top corner with fingertip, roll bundle to corner.
4. Deep fry until golden brown.
5. serve with won ton sauce.

Won Ton Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 cup white wine vinegar

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix together in small sauce pan and heat through.

*We love these mini won tons! They are so delicious and my kids just eat them up! We usually serve them with either fried rice or white rice and stir fry veggies.
